Our driver app is rapidly gaining popularity among London's black cab drivers (with take-up increasing at an eye-watering rate). We're looking for a top Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to develop strategic marketing plans for both our consumer and driver products through analytics, market research, customer engagement, pricing and competitive analysis.

About You

The role requires extensive knowledge of online and mobile marketing best practices in SEM and display/banner advertising and a proven track-record of marketing success with consumer oriented brands. You will work together with management to develop monthly targets, budget and consumer acquisition goals and will be responsible for tracking success through reporting of key performance metrics.

You will also work on the development of new product features with the engineering team with a view to increasing user engagement and satisfaction. You will have extensive experience driving ROI positive marketing campaigns for consumer based services via online and mobile channels including SEM, display/banner, social networks (Facebook and MySpace), and CPA / CPD networks (Admob / iADs).

Success requires the ability to operate on both tactical and strategic levels, touching all aspects of search and display/banner marketing including keyword management, creative design, bidding strategies, creative testing, and analytics.

Your analytics skills (Google Analytics / Flurry) will also extend into product realm. You will be able to analyze product usage patterns, develop and manage customer engagement metrics, and be able to apply them to influence the prioritization of new product features.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze daily usage of the consumer and driver apps, constantly driving engagement metrics, pinpointing product issues, and constantly trying to deliver the best possible user experience
  • Create, manage, and analyze paid search, display/banner campaigns across multiple search engines, ad networks and websites to ensure acquisition goals are met
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of paid search and display/banner campaigns including keyword generation, ad copy writing, ad design, ad optimization, bid management, landing page optimization, budget management etc.
  • Provide ongoing analysis and reporting of key success metrics by channel (SEM, display, CPA network, etc) such as traffic, engagement, and demographics
  • Maintain marketing budgets, provide weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts
  • Work with internal and external creative, product, and engineering teams to drive conversions

Requirements

  • 3+ years online and mobile marketing within consumer internet categories
  • Undergraduate degree or higher required
  • Proven history managing CPA / CPD campaigns in search and display channels
  • Outstanding analytical skills and data-driven mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of success metrics and ability to measure performance accurately
  • Deep knowledge of SEM and display/banner advertising as well as a working knowledge of current and emerging trends and technologies.
  • Experience using Google AdWords, Yahoo Marketing Solutions and MS AdCenter
  • Experience with A/B and/or multivariate testing.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Valuable and trustworthy relationships with digital agencies in the UK and major International markets
  • Understanding of relevant mobile networks worldwide
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Creativity, teamwork and strong attention to detail required.
